University of St. Gallen
The University of St Gallen (HSG) was founded in 1898 – the heyday of the St. Gallen textile industry – as an “Academy of Commerce, Transport and Administration” and began its lectures in 1899. Since its foundation, the education received at the HSG has been marked by its practical relevance and integrative viewpoint. Today, it is one of the leading schools of economics in Europe, and has received an international stamp of approval with EQUIS and AACSB accreditation. Some 5000 young people study at the HSG.

International Students’ Committee (ISC) St. Gallen
The International Students’ Committee (ISC) is an independent student initiative at the University of St. Gallen and as such organizer of the annual St. Gallen Symposium, a global gathering for debates between Leaders of Today and Tomorrow on topics of management, politics and civil society. The ISC builds and maintains lasting relationships with hundreds of leaders from around the globe in order to encourage a constructive exchange of ideas.
